Afghan Drug Smuggler Caught with a Record 184 Heroin Pellets in Abdomen

Afghan border police stopped two men who were trying to board a flight from Kabul to India this week -- and after discovering that both men were carrying large quantities of heroin in their abdomens, police arrested the pair for drug trafficking.

One of the drug mules had swallowed 91 pellets, and the other had consumed a record-breaking 184 pellets. Each heroin pellet is about one inch wide and 1.5 inches long.

Kabul authorities have stopped 12 drug smugglers at the airport within the past month. Most of the world's heroin is produced inside Afghanistan and exported throughout the world.
